Triston (born September 29th, 1983) better known as his stage name Triston Fivestar, is a Dancehall Reggae artist, promoter, and event planner best known for his catchy hit phrase “Tell mi how mi sound!”
It was in the summer of 2009 when Triston wrote his first hit single, “Gyalist From Birth” This was a crowd favorite! He performed it for the first time at Masonic Banquet Hall in Mississauga, Ontario and it received an overwhelming response from the crowd who continuously requested an encore! It was then that Triston knew he had the God- Given talent to make it in the Dancehall Reggae music industry.
Triston gives enormous credit to Zikes of Journey sound for constantly pushing his music at dancehall events and is truly grateful to him as Zikes has played a tremendous role in his success. It doesn't stop there! After his first single Triston was able to write and record a great number of songs by the summer of 2010. Some of Triston's most requested songs were “Gyalist From Birth,” “Fresh,” “Gyalist For The Year”.
