Episode Summary

Jamaican born, Ishmael Rolando Stewart otherwise known as “Jahvine”, from parents, Miss Juliet Robinson and Mr. Claude Stewart, was born on the 7 th day of April 1989 at the most famous Maternity Hospital in Kingston Jamaica, Victoria Jubilee Hospital. He grew up without a father figure due to his father was a police officer and was shot off duty and died before Jahvine was born the present year of birth 1989. With that said Jahvine mother sent him to Christiana to live with his Aunt Rose who was a Christian. With attendance of going church with Aunt Rose, he then started singing along with the choir and making unique melodies, that is when he started to discovering his gift to do music for all. By the year 2000, at the age of (11) eleven years old Jahvine was move back to Kingston, Waltham Park to live with his mother and stepfather. Jahvine who then became oldest out of (3) three that consist of (1) Sister and (1) brother. He attends the Greenwich All Age School then graduated to Tivoli Gardens High

At his years as teenager going to Tivoli High School, he was a part of the Cricket

Team, but was in love with subjects like; Literature, Reading, Spelling and Poetry,

knowing that his gift was to do music. Growing up the Waltham Park area, he has

made friends with Shamar and Alex that has the passion for music like him.

During the friendship with his new friends, they use to help an elderly man named

Mr. Chin to help string up lights for street dance in the community. Therefore, at

that time his friends Alex and Shamar wanted to sing a song so Mr. Chin would

like it so Jahvine decide to write the song for them to sing title “Ghetto Life” he

was at the age (15) fifteen when he wrote that song. Mr. Chin heard the song, like
